Job description

Mercor is seeking licensed healthcare professionals to help train and evaluate consumer-facing health AI agents.

This role focuses on reviewing AI-generated health responses to ensure:

  • Clinical accuracy
  • Safety
  • Appropriate medical scope
  • Quality healthcare guidance

Contributors will help improve AI systems handling:

  • Medication identification
  • Symptom assessment
  • Consumer health questions
  • General health guidance

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN or NP with real-world clinical experience and familiarity with patient-facing health communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated responses related to:

    • Symptoms
    • Medications
    • General health concerns
    • Consumer health guidance

  • Assess outputs for:

    • Clinical accuracy
    • Safety
    • Clarity
    • Appropriate scope

  • Identify when AI responses:

    • Cross into unsafe medical advice
    • Omit critical safety guidance
    • Fail to meet professional healthcare standards

  • Provide detailed feedback to improve:

    • AI health agents
    • Clinical response quality
    • Healthcare-related AI systems

  • Apply clinical judgment to determine whether AI outputs are:

    • Helpful
    • Responsible
    • Appropriately limited

  • Collaborate remotely with AI evaluation and research teams

  • Maintain high standards for healthcare communication and patient safety

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Licensed healthcare professional such as:

    • Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Clinical experience working with patient care and consumer health scenarios

  • Strong understanding of:
