Education Expert — Consumer AI Agents

Mercor is seeking experienced education professionals to help train and evaluate consumer-facing AI tutoring and learning agents.

This role focuses on reviewing AI-generated educational content to ensure:

• Pedagogical quality
• Instructional effectiveness
• Accuracy
• Age appropriateness
• Curriculum alignment

Contributors will apply expertise in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, and instructional design to improve next-generation AI-powered education systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated educational content for:

  • Accuracy
  • Clarity
  • Educational quality
  • Teaching effectiveness

• Assess tutoring responses for:

  • Age appropriateness
  • Curriculum alignment
  • Pedagogical best practices

• Identify weaknesses in AI-generated explanations and instructional workflows

• Provide detailed feedback to improve:

  • Learning experiences
  • AI tutoring systems
  • Educational interactions

• Apply expertise in:

  • Curriculum development
  • Instructional design
  • Student learning methodologies

to support AI training and evaluation.

• Collaborate remotely with AI research and evaluation teams
• Maintain high standards for educational quality and learner engagement

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Professional experience as:

  • Educator
  • Tutor
  • Curriculum developer
  • Instructional designer

• Strong understanding of:

  • Student learning processes
  • Teaching methodologies

• Graduate degree in:
