Job description

Mercor is seeking experienced finance professionals to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems focused on complex financial document understanding.

This role involves reviewing, annotating, and assessing AI-generated analyses across a variety of financial materials including:

The ideal candidate has senior-level financial experience or holds a CFA designation with strong expertise in financial analysis and document review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated analyses of financial documents

  • Annotate and assess financial reasoning for:

    • Accuracy
    • Completeness
    • Professional quality

  • Analyze complex materials including:

    • Earnings reports
    • Investment memos
    • Pricing models
    • Regulatory filings

  • Apply professional financial judgment to determine whether AI outputs meet industry standards

  • Provide structured feedback to improve:

    • AI reasoning
    • Financial analysis quality
    • Document interpretation accuracy

  • Contribute expertise in:

    • Valuation analysis
    • Financial reporting
    • Investment research
    • Financial document review

  • Collaborate remotely with AI research and evaluation teams
