About the Role

micro1 is hiring Video Data Reviewers to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality video annotation review and validation.

In this role, you will review model-generated annotations involving hand movements, object interactions, and action timing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with annotation standards.

No prior AI experience is required — strong attention to detail and observational accuracy are the most important qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Video Annotation Review

  • Review and refine AI-generated video annotations
  • Validate:
  • Hand movement labels
  • Object interaction labels
  • Temporal action boundaries
  • Ensure annotation timing aligns with actual activity start/end points

Quality Assurance

  • Verify:
  • Left vs. right hand identification
  • Action segmentation accuracy
  • Caption clarity and atomicity
  • Ensure each annotation describes:
  • A single independent action
  • Clear and precise movement descriptions
  • Flag:
  • Ambiguous labels
  • Low-quality annotations
  • Incomplete segments

Annotation Standards & Collaboration

  • Follow structured annotation rubrics and review pipelines
  • Maintain consistent review quality across repetitive video tasks
  • Provide actionable feedback for annotation improvement
  • Collaborate with project leads on edge-case reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Strong visual discrimination skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain focus during repetitive review sessions
  • Comfortable using:
