Trust & Safety Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Trust & Safety Manager to lead the integrity, risk, and enforcement systems of an AI talent platform.

In this role, you will design and operate scalable Trust & Safety systems that ensure fairness, safety, and quality across the platform, working at the intersection of policy, operations, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Trust & Safety policies, risk frameworks, and enforcement systems
• Design workflows for risk screening, investigations, and escalation processes
• Build and manage structured investigation pipelines and decision systems
• Lead and develop Trust & Safety teams
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to build scalable safety tools and automation
• Monitor platform risks, anomalies, and abuse patterns
• Maintain audit logs, enforcement consistency, and decision standards
• Integrate Trust & Safety into the full expert lifecycle

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, risk, fraud, or investigations
• Experience leading or owning a Trust & Safety or integrity function
• Strong analytical and data skills (including SQL)
• Experience designing enforcement systems and workflows
• Ability to translate complex judgment into scalable processes
• Strong written communication and decision-making skills
• Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marketplaces or gig platforms
• Exposure to KYC, fraud detection, or compliance systems
• Experience building AI-assisted moderation or risk systems
• Background in audit, compliance, or legal operations
• Familiarity with distributed workforce platforms
