Join micro1’s customer team as a LibreSprite Expert and contribute to professional pixel art and animation projects while helping train next-generation AI systems. This role focuses on executing complete, structured pixel art workflows while documenting your creative decision-making process.
You will demonstrate authentic production-level practices in LibreSprite, from concept development to final asset export, capturing both artistic execution and workflow rationale.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full pixel art and animation projects from concept through final asset export using LibreSprite.
- Demonstrate real-time animation previews, refining motion and timing to professional standards.
- Use onion skinning, layered compositions, and sprite structuring to produce smooth animations.
- Create cohesive asset sets including sprite sheets, character animations, tilesets, UI elements, and retro-style illustrations.
- Leverage tiled drawing mode, palette customization, and pixel-precision tools for detailed artwork.
- Export optimized sprites and animations in required technical formats.
- Clearly articulate creative decisions and workflow logic in written and verbal formats.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency with LibreSprite in real production environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating pixel art, animation, and graphic design expertise.
- Deep understanding of sprite composition, animation timing, and pixel art stylistic nuances.
- Experience managing complete projects from concept to delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, structured environment.
