The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities.
Project Coordinator III
Job description
Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Post Coordinator (Contract Worker) to support Meta Reality Labs Entertainment's (RLE) Video Production (RVP) post-production team across the active content slate. This is a cross-slate coordination role — the post-side counterpart to our existing production-side coordinator — designed as the force multiplier across all post-production hires.
The role exists to keep post-production supervisors and producers focused on supervision and delivery, not on coordination admin. The successful candidate will own deliverable tracking, vendor follow-up coordination, meeting notes, document hygiene, and intake triage across the entire post slate — freeing up the post supervisors / producers / editor to focus on the work that requires their judgment.
This is a remote, contract worker (CW) position and not a full-time employee (FTE) role. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated organizer with a passion for keeping creative teams on track and informed, with prior experience in post-production environments and comfort with vendor + multi-stakeholder coordination.
Job Responsibilities:
Cross-Slate Post Pipeline Tracking
Maintain canonical per-title post-production tracking across all active RVP post workstreams — narrative film + series, including 3D film conversions, sports productions, and creative asset deliveries
Drive weekly status reporting + cross-slate roll-ups for RVP leadership + cross-functional partners
Maintain deliverable calendars across post supervisors / producers; flag risks and conflicts proactively
Track key post milestones, due dates, and dependencies to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Vendor Follow-Up Coordination
Follow up on notes turnaround, asset receipt, and delivery confirmation across external post vendors
Maintain vendor contact lists, delivery preferences, and operational logistics records
Coordinate with RVP's production-side coordination on shared vendor relationships
Meeting Notes & Action-Item Tracking
Take meeting notes and track action items across post-side syncs and ad-hoc vendor reviews
Drive accountability on action items + follow-up across post supervisors / producers / vendors
Prepare clear, concise agendas for post-side meetings; document decisions and next steps
Document Hygiene
Maintain document hygiene across post trackers, handoff packets, project canonical docs, and team-shared workspaces
Drive consistency in document templates, structure, and version discipline
Archive completed-project artifacts; maintain searchable historical record
Intake Triage & Routing
Triage inbound post-production requests and route to the right post supervisor / producer
Drive clarification on ambiguous asks; surface unowned work to RVP leadership
Maintain a clear front door for cross-team intake into post production
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with the production-side Sports Coordinator on shared cross-slate touchpoints + handoff between production-side and post-side coordination
Coordinate with RVP Technical Production & Enablement on shared tooling, documentation, and process work
Partner with Programming, Marketing, and Audience teams on cross-team coordination touchpoints
Liaison between RVP post-production and the platform ingest team on delivery handoff coordination
Continuous Improvement
Help define + refine best practices for documentation, scheduling, and post-production tracking
Suggest and implement improvements in coordination and workflow processes
Contribute to the evolution of RVP's post-prod
Must Have Skills:
Excellent organizational and project management skills — including experience building and managing schedules, tracking deliverables, and supporting multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with industry-standard documentation and workflow tools
Demonstrated ability to support complex, cross-functional initiatives — collecting, clarifying, and communicating requirements to varied stakeholders (creative, technical, vendor, business)
Comfortable working independently and as part of a distributed, primarily remote team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Strong vendor / external-partner coordination experience
Experience with VR, immersive video, 3D content, or live broadcast strongly preferred
Flexibility to attend virtual meetings across multiple time zones
Knowledge of Google Suite, Frame.io, & any standard post production software squites
Nice to have:
Familiarity with AI tools and workflows in a media production context — and the curiosity to adopt new AI-augmented patterns as our team integrates them into our pipeline
Previous Meta experience
Background in post production/deep post production
Education/Experience:
5+ years experience in a post-production coordinator, post-production manager, or similar role — preferably in media production, immersive content, or live event production environments
None required — equivalent coordination experience accepted in lieu of a degree. Bachelor's in Film/Media/Communications or equivalent a plus. No certifications required.
