Creative Strategist IV
Job description
**Creative Strategist, Reality Labs Social
About the Role**
We're looking for a Creative Strategist to lead the creative direction for one of Reality Labs' social channels. Reporting to a Lead Creative Strategist, you'll shape the channel's creative strategy from the ground up — building series, developing evergreen programming, and tapping into cultural moments that drive reach and engagement. You'll balance brand integrity with risk-taking, working within established principles while constantly pushing for breakthrough creative. Whether you're directing an external agency, partnering with brand and channel teams, or picking up a camera yourself — you'll be deeply involved in making the content great.
What You'll Do
Drive the end-to-end creative strategy for the channel, including risk-taking, series development, evergreen programming, and trending content
Proactively tap into cultural and platform trends to drive breakthrough creative; stay current with emerging social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors relevant to Reality Labs products
Own creative quality and consistency — ensure storytelling, design, and tone of voice are excellent across all channel content, maximizing reach and engagement in alignment with the Channel Lead and Lead Creative Strategist
Provide art direction for channel content — giving creative direction, overseeing visual execution, and ensuring brand standards are met
Participate directly in content creation beyond concepting — filming, shooting, and crafting content for social channels when applicable
In partnership with the Channel team, assign series, templates, and formats to briefs to optimize product storytelling and drive meaningful engagement
Ensure all content adheres to established creative principles and channel POV; collaborate closely with Lead Creative Strategists to maintain creative alignment
Build and maintain strong relationships with Brand Creative teams; partner with the Channel team to manage approvals and reviews
Collaborate across Reality Labs channel teams and with fellow Channel Creatives to develop breakthrough creative concepts, share best practices, and foster a culture of innovation and shared creative ownership
Champion creative experimentation and continuous improvement within the team
**Qualifications
Must-haves:
**
7+ years of experience in creative strategy for social channels
Experience developing end-to-end content strategies, including series development, evergreen programming, and trend-driven content
Ability to art direct — provide clear creative direction, oversee visual execution, and uphold brand standards
Experience managing external creative agencies: briefing, reviewing, and quality-checking output
Hands-on content creation skills (filming, shooting, crafting assets for social)
Strong understanding of platform-specific trends, formats, and audience behaviors
Track record of cross-functional collaboration with brand, channel, and strategy teams
**Nice-to-haves:
**
Experience working within established creative principles or brand playbooks
Background in product storytelling — translating product features into engaging social content
Experience assigning and adapting content formats (templates, series, etc.) to match platform-specific best practices
Familiarity with consumer tech, AR/VR products, or wearable devices
Portfolio demonstrating both creative risk-taking and brand consistency
