Job description

Summary:

The main function of a data labeling analyst is to create and manage labeling and change processes within the data management systems/tools. The typical data labeling analyst will have experience in data quality assurance, data analysis, critical thinking, and ideally audio processing.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as both annotators and auditors, depending on Product and project needs. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Labeling / auditing a set amount of data daily, at the direction of Project Coordinators and Project Managers
Reviewing and validating labeled datasets for accuracy and consistency.
Performing QA in our in-house annotation tooling
Flexing between projects as demand requires; adjusting to new project guidelines week-over week and learning multiple project guidelines at once
Comprehending complex guidelines and product requirements to accurately label ML data to refine AI models
Collaborating with team members to identify improvements to the labeling process to drive efficiency and promote high quality
Supporting training new DLAs who join a project through shadowing sessions (i.e., letting other DLAs shadow their work)
Operationalizing on Product feedback and bringing best data labeling practices downstream to peer DLAs in accordance with Product feedback and review
Supporting with any additional tasks to help with program excellence

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in related field.
Ability to identify trends within large data sets.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Problem solving skills.
Team oriented with attention for detail

Nice to have:

Previous experience in working with audio or ai tech
Experience with annotation tools and platforms

This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Meta.

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $19.54/hour - $24.42/hour.

Tundra’s benefits offering includes optional medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, up to 15 Days PTO per annum and a New Child Benefit.
