This is a highly creative role focused on shaping the visual identity of one of the most popular sports experiences on Roblox, reaching millions of players worldwide. You will be responsible for designing engaging and functional 2D assets that enhance gameplay, UI clarity, and seasonal storytelling across a live, constantly evolving game. From menus, HUDs, and icons to promotional banners, event branding, and animated assets, your work will directly shape how players interact with the experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and artists to ensure seamless integration of visuals into gameplay systems. The role blends artistic creativity with practical UI/UX thinking, requiring both strong visual fundamentals and an understanding of interactive design. In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will help evolve a recognizable visual language that resonates with both sports fans and a global gaming community.

Accountabilities:

• Design high-quality 2D UI and in-game assets including menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, pop-ups, and other interface elements that support gameplay clarity and engagement.
• Create promotional and seasonal content such as banners, event graphics, animated emojis, and in-game offers that support live operations and player engagement campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to iterate on layouts, interactions, and visual states for optimal user experience.
• Maintain and evolve the established visual style of the game while contributing creative ideas to improve clarity, consistency, and player appeal.
• Ensure all UI and visual assets are optimized for multiple platforms including desktop, mobile, and console environments.
• Participate in art reviews, team meetings, and feedback sessions, actively contributing to a collaborative and iterative creative process.
• Support UI/UX discussions by providing input on usability, readability, and overall player experience improvements.
• Prepare and organize assets for smooth implementation within production pipelines and game engines.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 2D UI design and game-ready assets, ideally within interactive or gaming environments.
• Solid understanding of drawing fundamentals, including composition, color theory, visual hierarchy, and storytelling through design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent software.
• Experience designing functional UI elements for games, with an understanding of usability and player experience considerations.
• Knowledge of production pipelines, asset optimization, and working within technical constraints for real-time applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to receive feedback constructively and iterate quickly in a fast-paced production setting.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Roblox Studio UI systems, ScreenGui structures, and responsive design principles.
• Nice to have: passion for sports, especially football, and familiarity with Gen Alpha gaming culture and Roblox communities.
