About the Role
We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build AI systems that can reason through real-world security incidents, alerts, and investigations. As a Security Operations Analyst, your hands-on SOC expertise will directly shape how AI understands and responds to cybersecurity threats — making future security tools smarter, faster, and more accurate.

What You'll Do
- Analyze realistic SOC incident and alert scenarios to determine what is happening and why it matters
- Classify alert severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
- Review and evaluate detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation procedures
- Validate AI-generated outputs to ensure they reflect how real security analysts think and operate
- Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning on security tasks
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles
- Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and security investigation workflows
- Skilled at separating true security signals from noise and false positives
- Methodical thinker who can clearly articulate the reasoning behind security decisions
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics
- Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or similar
- Prior involvement in AI, data labeling, or security tooling evaluation
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH, or similar)
