Oncology Clinical Researcher

Alignerr

AI Expert - Clinical & Medical Contractor
Remote (Global) $40 – $80/hr June 22, 2026

Job description

Oncology Clinical Researcher (AI Training)

About the Role

What if your deep knowledge of cancer clinical trials could directly shape how AI understands and reasons about oncology — influencing research tools used by scientists and clinicians around the world?

We're looking for experienced Oncology Clinical Researchers to bring real-world rigor to cutting-edge AI development. You'll work with leading AI research teams to ensure that oncology trial data, clinical insights, and regulatory standards are accurately reflected in next-generation AI systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for oncology professionals who want to do meaningful work on their own terms.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design and evaluate oncology clinical trial frameworks — including study protocols, patient enrollment criteria, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Analyze cancer trial data across safety, efficacy, and biomarker endpoints to assess treatment performance
  • Translate trial outcomes into structured regulatory and scientific reports aligned with FDA/EMA submission standards
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical insights for accuracy, clinical relevance, and regulatory soundness
  • Help ensure AI models reason correctly about real oncology data — from trial design through data readout

Who You Are

  • Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through final data readout
  • Strong background in analyzing oncology clinical data — including primary and secondary endpoints, safety profiles, and biomarker results
  • Familiar with regulatory submission standards for agencies such as the FDA or EMA
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold AI-generated content to the same standard you'd apply in a real clinical setting
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in translational oncology, precision medicine, or companion diagnostics
  • Experience contributing to or reviewing publications, INDs, or NDAs

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems transforming how cancer research is understood and applied
  • Influence how AI models interpret, evaluate, and communicate real oncology data
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around
  • Collaborate with world-leading AI research teams on problems that actually matter
  • Freelance autonomy with the substance of genuinely impactful, expert-level work
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
