About the Role
Apply your legal and compliance expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. As a Privacy Annotation Specialist, you'll review and annotate legal and compliance documents, validate AI-generated outputs, and ensure data privacy standards are upheld across all document review workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Document Annotation
- Review and annotate legal and compliance documents for privacy-sensitive information, focusing on Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and data privacy compliance
- Conduct meticulous contract review and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in document annotation
- Collaborate with the client's team to identify and flag documents during eDiscovery and legal investigations
AI Output Validation
- Confirm and validate outputs from Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tools, ensuring the integrity and reliability of AI-generated results
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve annotation processes and quality guidelines
Information Governance & Compliance
- Apply best practices in information governance and data privacy to all document review processes
- Assist with litigation support and digital forensics operations, ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory and legal standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in contract review, eDiscovery, or legal document review
- Strong background in quality assurance within legal or compliance environments
- In-depth understanding of compliance frameworks and regulations related to data privacy, PII, and information governance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
- Proficiency in digital tools for document management and review, including OCR technologies
- Background in legal technology, managed legal services, or compliance technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead
- Prior involvement with digital forensics or litigation support initiatives
- Familiarity with advanced compliance and information governance solutions
