Germany $60 – $90/hr June 15, 2026

Job description

Frontend TypeScript Engineer (AI Training)

About the Role

What if your deep expertise in TypeScript could directly influence how AI writes code for millions of developers around the world? We're looking for experienced Frontend TypeScript Engineers in Berlin and across Germany to review, evaluate, and guide AI-generated code — helping cutting-edge AI models understand what truly type-safe, scalable, and modern web development looks like.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll work alongside leading AI research teams, applying your real-world frontend knowledge to tasks that have a lasting impact on how AI understands and produces TypeScript code.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated TypeScript code for strict type safety, accurate interface design, and correct generic usage
  • Develop complex, type-safe frontend components that demonstrate best practices in modern web architecture
  • Provide detailed technical commentary on architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies
  • Identify and flag ambiguities or errors in AI responses related to complex type definitions and asynchronous frontend patterns
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Deep expertise in TypeScript — including static typing, generics, interfaces, and utility types
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js
  • Strong written and verbal communicator who can clearly articulate technical reasoning
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a high standard for code quality and correctness
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with full-stack TypeScript patterns and performance optimization
  • Background in code review, technical writing, or engineering mentorship

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
  • Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and writes modern TypeScript
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
