Accountabilities:

• Remediate security vulnerabilities identified through cloud security platforms and security assessment tools by implementing code and configuration changes across .NET applications and Azure environments.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance secure cloud-native solutions using .NET technologies and Azure services while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and solution architects to ensure security requirements are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring maintainability, performance, and compliance with secure development principles.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering identified risks, mitigation plans, remediation activities, and security improvements.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge and adapt to emerging cloud technologies, security frameworks, and development tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing .NET applications hosted within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Table Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure API Management (APIM).
• Solid understanding of cloud security concepts and a strong willingness to implement security remediation strategies and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with Azure networking, Application Gateway, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations is highly desirable.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to investigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of quickly learning new technologies and tools.
