Job description

As a Financial & Legal Document Analyst, you will apply expertise in financial and legal documentation to help train next-generation AI systems.

This role focuses on sourcing, reviewing, classifying, and analyzing high-stakes financial and legal records to improve AI understanding of regulated documents, compliance workflows, and information retrieval systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, review, and verify open-source financial and legal documents including:

    • SEC filings
    • Investor decks
    • Credit agreements
    • Regulatory filings
  • Analyze documents for:

    • Minor errors
    • Logical inconsistencies
    • Compliance concerns
    • Missing information
  • Create and refine data taxonomies used to classify and organize complex document sets

  • Evaluate automated document retrieval systems and identify gaps in:

    • Information extraction
    • Classification accuracy
    • Fine-print detection
  • Provide detailed written and verbal feedback to improve AI-driven document systems

  • Maintain organized records tracking:

    • Document sources
    • Classification decisions
    • Analytical findings
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure:

    • Consistency
    • Accuracy
    • Best-practice alignment

across financial and legal document analysis workflows.
