Join the team as an Accounting / Finance Management Specialist responsible for overseeing financial processes and maintaining strong accounting practices in a remote-first environment.
This role focuses on financial operations, reporting accuracy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial process improvement using Akaunting and related accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- General ledger reconciliations
- Month-end closing activities
Use Akaunting and related accounting platforms to manage financial workflows
Prepare, review, and analyze:
- Financial statements
- Financial reports
- Accounting records
to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Develop and implement best practices for:
- Budgeting
- Forecasting
- Financial planning
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve accounting and finance workflows
Monitor:
- Cash flow
- Expense tracking
- Financial performance metrics
Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and operational performance
Ensure compliance with:
- Accounting standards
- Tax regulations
- Internal company policies
Communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Related field
Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance management experience
Strong understanding of:

Experience with:

- Cloud-based accounting software
