This project focuses on reviewing and improving real-world business scenarios used to train AI planning assistants in an educational context.
The AI model acts as a tutor by:
- Structuring complex problems
- Building hypothesis trees
- Teaching strategic reasoning to business students
The role requires thinking like a consultant at a top-tier firm by:
- Breaking down ambiguous problems
- Structuring analytical approaches
- Identifying and discarding hypotheses using data
- Delivering clear strategic recommendations

Reasoning Case Requirements
Applicants must present a real business problem they diagnosed or solved.
Examples may include:

Evaluation focuses on reasoning quality rather than whether the final outcome was objectively correct.
Case Structure
Part 1 — The Problem
Describe:
- The business problem
- The available data or information at the start
Part 2 — Your Journey
Describe your reasoning process in 3 steps.
For each step:
- Explain what was analyzed or decided
- Explain what evidence, data, or framework drove the decision
Part 3 — Discarded Alternatives
For each of the 3 reasoning steps:
- List at least 2 alternative hypotheses considered
- Explain the concrete data that eliminated each hypothesis
Generic answers such as “it wasn’t the case” are not considered valid.
Part 4 — Conclusion
Describe:
- The final recommendation or solution
- How the gathered evidence led to the conclusion
Also highlight:
- 1–2 key insights
- Important findings or turning points
- Non-obvious observations that significantly influenced the reasoning process
