Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking Academic Researchers and quantitative professionals to help evaluate, improve, and benchmark next-generation AI systems.

In this remote AI training role, you will work closely with advanced AI models on tasks involving scientific reasoning, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, experimental evaluation, and technical problem solving. Your expertise will help ensure AI-generated outputs are technically rigorous, logically sound, and applicable to real-world research and analytical workflows.

This role is ideal for professionals with academic or research backgrounds in quantitative disciplines including statistics, economics, engineering, operations research, biology, physics, data science, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated quantitative analysis and scientific reasoning for technical accuracy and real-world validity
  • Review outputs involving:

  • Experimental analysis
  • Data interpretation
  • Design and solve quantitative benchmark problems used to train AI systems
  • Write clear technical explanations and well-documented analytical code
  • Provide structured feedback that improves AI reasoning and quantitative capabilities
  • Contribute to the development of AI systems focused on scientific and analytical intelligence

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in:
