The Research Data Science team develops innovative methodologies and scalable machine learning systems powering audience measurement, attribution analytics, and creative testing solutions.
Role Overview
iSpot is seeking a Research Data Scientist 1 to help build advanced machine learning and statistical models for advertising and TV audience measurement.
In this role, you will analyze large-scale datasets, develop ML models, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve advertising analytics capabilities in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Statistical Modeling
- Conduct in-depth analysis on large demographic and viewing datasets
- Build advanced statistical and predictive models
- Extract actionable insights from complex datasets
Machine Learning Development
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models
- Solve measurement and attribution challenges using modern ML techniques
- Improve audience and advertising analytics systems
Data Pipeline & Engineering Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines
- Process and transform data from multiple sources efficiently
- Support scalable production-level modeling systems
Research & Innovation
- Stay current with emerging data science and machine learning techniques
- Explore novel modeling approaches and research methodologies
- Contribute to innovation across analytics and measurement systems
Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–3 years professional experience in:
- Data science
- Statistical modeling
- Machine learning
- Strong understanding of:

- Experience analyzing high-dimensional datasets
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field

- Experience building scalable ML systems and data workflows
Work Details
- Remote-first role with hybrid flexibility depending on location
- Hybrid schedule available near Bellevue, WA or New York, NY offices
- Fully remote for candidates located outside office regions
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $95,950 – $106,000 USD
- Equity/stock options available for eligible employees
