Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering innovative digital products.
In this role, you will collaborate with a high-performing engineering team to deliver robust, secure, and efficient backend infrastructure in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Translate business requirements into technical backend solutions
- Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and security
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Contribute to system architecture and backend design decisions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and system security
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event-driven or serverless architectures
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Background in mentoring or technical leadership
