Role Overview

Join as a Federal Grants Compliance Officer and ensure adherence to federal regulations in research funding and grant management.

In this role, you will oversee post-award compliance for federally funded projects, respond to audits, and provide guidance on regulatory frameworks to ensure institutional compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply federal regulations (NSF, NIH, DoD) to research funding activities
• Oversee post-award grant compliance processes
• Respond to federal audits and inquiries with detailed documentation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance issues
• Develop and deliver training on grants compliance
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies
• Communicate findings clearly to leadership and external agencies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in federal grant post-award management
• Experience handling federal audit responses in research institutions
• Strong understanding of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently in remote environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in public administration, law, finance, or related field
• Experience developing compliance policies or training programs
• Certifications such as CRA, CPRA, or CCA

Compensation

• Pay Range: $52–$98 per hour
