Uber AI Solutions is seeking experienced legal professionals to contribute to a cutting-edge Generative AI project.

In this role, you will apply your legal expertise to evaluate, refine, and guide AI-generated legal content. You will help ensure that outputs are precise, logically sound, and aligned with real-world legal standards.

This is a freelance, remote opportunity designed for independent contractors based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop prompt-specific writing rubrics targeting legal precision, conciseness, and formal tone
• Write system instructions and user queries based on real-world legal use cases (e.g., waivers, motions, affidavits)
• Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses based on writing quality and legal soundness
• Provide detailed justifications comparing model outputs in professional legal contexts
• Extract and apply relevant context from source documents to maintain legal accuracy and voice
• Audit high-priority materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and avoid “AI-speak”

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Ability to break down complex legal language into structured evaluation criteria
• Experience performing side-by-side comparisons and quality assessments
• Comfortable working with structured data formats (e.g., JSON)
• High attention to detail and precision

Preferred Qualifications

• JD or LLM from an accredited institution (highly preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in legal writing, litigation, or regulatory compliance

Project Details
