Bilingual Expert | English and Turkish

About the Role

Mercor is seeking Bilingual Experts (English–Turkish) to participate in an AI output review project with a leading AI research organization.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated Turkish content to ensure it uses fluent, natural phrasing and follows appropriate linguistic and cultural standards.

You will also confirm that personally identifiable information (PII) has been properly removed from the content before it is used for AI training datasets.

This is a short-term project-based opportunity suitable for language professionals with experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate AI-generated translations and content
• Evaluate outputs for fluency, accuracy, and natural phrasing
• Identify awkward or unnatural wording and provide idiomatic alternatives
• Ensure language reflects contemporary usage and linguistic norms
• Detect ambiguity, tone issues, or translation inconsistencies
• Verify that personally identifiable information (PII) has been removed
• Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and localization

Ideal Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Turkish and English
• At least 1 year of experience in translation, localization, or language QA
• Strong attention to detail
• Fast reading comprehension
• Ability to provide clear written feedback

Project Details

• Expected commitment: 10+ hours per week
• Project duration: approximately 3 days
• Possibility of future project extensions
