Bilingual Expert | English and Persian (Farsi)

About the Role

Mercor is seeking Bilingual Experts (English–Persian / Farsi) to support an AI output review project with a leading AI research organization.

In this role, you will review AI-generated Persian content to ensure that it uses fluent, natural phrasing and follows proper linguistic and cultural conventions.

You will also verify that personally identifiable information (PII) has been correctly removed from the content before it is used in AI training datasets.

This is a short-term project-based engagement designed for language professionals with experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate AI-generated translations and content
• Evaluate outputs for fluency, accuracy, and natural phrasing
• Identify awkward or unnatural wording and suggest idiomatic alternatives
• Ensure the language reflects modern and culturally appropriate usage
• Detect ambiguity, tone issues, or translation inconsistencies
• Confirm that personally identifiable information (PII) has been removed
• Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and localization

Ideal Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in both Persian (Farsi) and English
• At least 1 year of experience in translation, localization, or language QA
• Strong attention to detail
• Fast reading comprehension
• Ability to provide clear written feedback

Project Details

• Expected commitment: 10+ hours per week
• Project duration: approximately 3 days
• Possibility of future projects or extensions
