Government / Public Policy Evaluators – AI Training

About the Role

Mercor is seeking Government / Public Policy Evaluators to support a high-impact AI evaluation workflow in partnership with a leading AI research lab.

In this role, you will review and assess AI-generated research reports related to census data, economic indicators, voting statistics, government budgets, and policy impact metrics.

Your evaluations will help ensure that advanced AI systems produce reliable and accurate insights for government analysis, public policy research, and economic reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated research reports for accuracy, clarity, and data integrity
• Assess insights derived from census datasets, demographic reports, and economic indicators
• Verify government statistics, budget allocations, and fiscal data using credible public sources
• Identify inconsistencies in policy analysis, electoral data interpretation, and economic reporting
• Complete evaluation tasks independently while meeting project deadlines
• Maintain consistent evaluation standards across assigned reports

Preferred Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in public policy analysis, economic research, or government data analysis
• Experience working with census datasets and demographic statistics
• Familiarity with economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, and employment data
• Experience analyzing voting statistics, electoral datasets, or public opinion research
• Exposure to government budgets, fiscal policy analysis, or public expenditure reports
• Ability to source and validate government datasets and statistical reports

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following areas:

• Public Policy
• Political Science
• Economics
• Public Administration
• Statistics
• Related analytical disciplines
