- Create challenging, realistic tasks that expose failure modes in frontier AI systems.
- Convert diagram-heavy or multi-part biology questions into self-contained text-only problems.
- Write rigorous explanations and verify scientific accuracy throughout.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses, diagnose reasoning errors, and refine problems to meet difficulty targets.
- Review and improve Biology tasks created by other contributors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and consistency across task batches.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biology or a closely related field.
- Strong upper-undergraduate or higher-level Biology background.
- Fluent written English with the ability to produce precise scientific explanations.
- Experience with teaching, grading, exam creation, or research-based analytical work.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in terminology and reasoning.
- Interest in AI model evaluation and understanding how training data impacts model behavior.
