Role Overview
As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating accurate and reliable datasets for computer vision systems.
You will annotate and label various types of data used to train and evaluate machine learning models, ensuring precision, consistency, and quality across all annotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate and label data including images, videos, and point clouds
- Ensure high accuracy and quality in all annotation tasks
- Maintain consistency across datasets by following defined guidelines
- Perform data pre-processing (resizing images, formatting data, standardizing inputs)
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and project managers
- Maintain organized documentation of annotated datasets
- Meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
- Conduct quality control checks and review peer annotations
- Contribute to improving annotation processes and workflows
Ideal Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data annotation or related fields (preferred)
- Familiarity with Computer Vision Annotation Tool (CVAT)
- Understanding of computer vision concepts and terminology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
