Role Overview

We are hiring Hindi-speaking annotators for a content evaluation and annotation project. In this role, you will review short-form video content in Hindi and produce structured evaluations across multiple dimensions.

Your work will directly contribute to AI systems focused on content integrity, trust, and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Review Hindi-language video content and write detailed evaluations in English.
• Identify and describe problematic content, including implied meaning, coded language, cultural subtext, and suggestive framing.
• Assess viewer impact across emotional and sensitivity dimensions.
• Apply structured rating frameworks to categorize content appropriateness.
• Research unfamiliar references (Hindi slang, trending memes, regional context) to ensure accurate evaluations.
• Triage content that does not meet review criteria (e.g., wrong language or broken media).

Content Warning

This role involves regular exposure to harmful or disturbing content, including violence, explicit language, and mature themes.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Hindi speaker with deep understanding of Hindi internet culture, slang, memes, and regional context.
• Strong professional writing ability in both Hindi and English.
• Ability to articulate nuance, subtext, and cultural meaning clearly.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Ability to evaluate sensitive or disturbing content objectively and consistently.
• Familiarity with short-form social media video formats.
• Reliable internet connection for streaming video content.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in content annotation, moderation, or trust and safety roles.
• Comfortable working with mature, graphic, or sensitive content regularly.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret both explicit and implicit meaning.
• Strong awareness of Hindi cultural context, slang, and coded language.
• Excellent written communication—evaluations must stand alone without the original content.

Contract & Payment Terms

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling.
• Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on performance and needs.
• No access to confidential or proprietary external data required.
