Data Annotation Specialist (Tier I)

About the Role

Execo is seeking a Data Annotation Specialist (Tier I) to join its AI data team. This entry-level role plays a critical part in training machine learning models by producing high-quality labeled data.

As a “human-in-the-loop,” you will work across multiple data types—including text, images, video, and audio—to create accurate datasets that improve AI performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform data labeling and categorization using techniques such as:
• Bounding boxes
• Polygons
• Named Entity Recognition (NER)
• Transcribe audio and video content into accurate text
• Classify documents into predefined categories
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Identify and escalate ambiguous data or edge cases
• Maintain data confidentiality and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA

Requirements

• Entry-level candidate with 0–2 years of experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow complex guidelines precisely
• Good computer literacy, including familiarity with Excel
• Ability to learn annotation tools such as:
• Labelbox
• CVAT

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in:
• Data entry
• Writing or editing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• Data Science
• Linguistics
