Data Annotation Specialist (Computer Vision)

About the Role

Applied Intuition is seeking Data Annotation Specialists to support a high-volume computer vision data pipeline.

In this role, you will label large volumes of image and video datasets using internal annotation tools. Your work will help accelerate the development of computer vision models by ensuring that training datasets are accurate and well-structured.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and comfortable working with visual data for extended periods while maintaining speed and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-volume image and video labeling using internal proprietary annotation tools
• Identify and flag model failure cases across multiple sensor and data types
• Maintain high labeling accuracy while meeting throughput targets
• Track annotation progress across large datasets
• Follow established labeling guidelines and escalate ambiguous cases when necessary

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) eligibility
• Experience with computer vision annotation, robotics labeling, or video analysis
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive visual tasks
• Ability to work within internal annotation software tools
• Ability to sustain focus and productivity during high-volume data labeling tasks

Schedule & Commitment

• Part-time role
• 20–30 hours per week
• Initial focus on clearing an existing data backlog
• Hours may adjust depending on project needs

Contract Details

• Contract length: 6 months
• Minimum commitment: 3 months (reassessed at 6 months)
• Fully remote position for U.S.-based candidates
