Investment Banking Modeling Analyst

This position sits at the intersection of institutional finance and emerging AI technologies, focusing on modeling precision, valuation rigor, and deal execution insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert complex investment banking and M&A processes into structured, knowledge-rich outputs.
• Build, review, and annotate advanced financial models, including:
• Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models
• M&A transaction models
• Integrated 3-statement models
• Valuation frameworks
• Create and refine investor-grade documents such as IC memos, CIM sections, and diligence reports.
• Evaluate and enhance AI-generated financial materials for deal accuracy and clarity.
• Curate structured datasets to train finance-focused AI systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to capture authentic transaction workflows.
• Maintain exceptional written and verbal communication standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Transaction Advisory, or Corporate Development.
• Strong live deal execution and diligence experience.
• Expertise in valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and LBO modeling.
• Proven ability to produce investor-ready financial outputs.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Authorized to work in the US, UK, or Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Infrastructure, Project Finance, Credit, Distressed, or Special Situations.
• Background at the intersection of finance and technology.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on innovative projects.
