Join micro1’s customer team as a Krita Expert and help shape the future of creative AI systems. This role is designed for experienced digital illustrators who can execute structured, end-to-end illustration workflows using Krita while documenting their authentic creative process.

Your workflow will directly contribute to training next-generation AI systems on professional digital art techniques and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete digital illustrations in Krita, from initial sketch to final polish.
• Perform structured, hour-long illustration workflows inside a virtual environment.
• Capture and document each step of your creative process for AI training purposes.
• Demonstrate advanced use of Krita tools, brushes, and structured layer management.
• Clearly articulate creative decisions verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to align workflows with research objectives.
• Provide detailed documentation and feedback on workflow methodology.
• Maintain consistent organization, structure, and quality standards across all artwork.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Krita with a strong professional or freelance portfolio.
• Mastery of structured layer-based workflows and digital illustration techniques.
• Advanced proficiency with Krita brushes, tools, and composition workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within virtual environments.
• Meticulous attention to detail and high-quality output standards.
• Ability to clearly explain artistic reasoning and workflow steps.
