Join our customer’s team as a Video Post-Production Workflow Expert and help redefine how AI systems understand professional video editing.
In this role, you will demonstrate your authentic post-production workflow using OpenShot or Shotcut, showcasing real-world sequencing, narrative timing, asset organization, and creative problem-solving. Your documented process will directly inform the next generation of AI-powered editing tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and clearly explain your end-to-end post-production workflow using OpenShot or Shotcut.
- Organize, label, and manage raw footage and multimedia assets efficiently.
- Apply narrative timing principles to structure compelling stories with strong pacing.
- Refine rough cuts, transitions, and visual flow to achieve polished final outputs.
- Document workflow decisions and editing rationale in written and verbal formats.
- Collaborate with research teams to improve AI learning from captured workflows.
- Provide actionable feedback on common post-production challenges and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven professional experience using OpenShot and/or Shotcut.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in sequencing, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Experience completing full video projects (commercial, educational, or monetized content).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong asset management and multimedia organization skills.
- Comfortable articulating creative and technical decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background as a freelance video editor, multimedia designer, or content producer.
- Experience producing e-learning, marketing, or social media video content.
- Prior experience documenting workflows or creating training materials.
