Role Overview

Join as a Building Code Compliance Expert and play a critical role in ensuring construction projects meet regulatory and safety standards.

In this role, you will apply your expertise in building codes and plan review to evaluate project documentation, ensure compliance, and provide guidance on regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural and engineering plans for building code compliance
• Interpret and analyze blueprints and construction documentation
• Provide recommendations to resolve code-related issues
• Stay current with local, state, and federal building regulations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors
• Deliver clear reports on compliance status and corrective actions
• Support improvement of compliance processes and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in building codes and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in plan review and blueprint reading
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with construction documentation and compliance reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ICC, NFPA, or relevant state licenses
• Experience with remote compliance consulting or virtual inspections
• Background in mentoring or training in compliance best practices

Compensation

• Pay Range: $50–$80 per hour
